This offseason will do wonders for Dante. I think it's the first time in his pro career that he's really had time to slow down and take it all in. His biggest problem as a rookie was being in his own head too much. While I'm not sure he'll ever be a knock-down shooter like Hood, I do feel like most of his offensive struggles were a mental thing. When you go back and watch his pre-draft highlights, like the Nike Hoop Summit game, it's kind of eye opening seeing that confident Dante Exum, who's not afraid to take it to the basket. With a slow and steady offseason, and a world of pressure off his shoulders, confident Dante should be coming next season.
And I don't even need to comment on his already stellar defense. Kid's a champ on that end of the court, no matter what.
