Perhaps a forgotten man in the Jazz season and new season is Ed Davis. Remember he broke his leg early and never seemed to get any momentum and eventually was sent to the end of the bench. His NBA career rebound average would put him 2nd on the Jazz this season. Perhaps the work stoppage allowed his leg to finally heal up and perhaps he could give provide a savvy veteran presence during the bubble games and playoffs. Since his NBA career 3 point percentage is .000, I don't expect him to stretch defenses.

I guess if Tony gets cooked in playoffs we may see Ed, though Morgan is also an option at 5. Ed is as not as bad as he s been with the Jazz this year, but especially his defense has been really disappointing.

That's where I wonder if his broken leg was holding him back. Dude was a 1st round pick and has a lot of NBA and playoff experience.

His leg isn’t the reason he SUCKED *** before it broke.

I think we got duped by a contract year + he’s aging. The point being, he shouldn’t play.

He may be useful on a team that doesn't rely on screening and rolling from their bigs to the making of nearly every set as we do. For our offense, he's a problem, terrible (the difference between Rudy and no offensive game is his game to Ed David on offense).
