Beating Philly at home enabled the rebuilding, our-kids-are-the-future Jazz to avoid their first 0-3 start since 1979-80. Only one team has a longer streak, FWIW: Milwaukee has gone 35 straight seasons without an 0-3 start dating to 1977-78.

Nobody should be surprised they dropped 5 spots from preseason ranking to 28th. Some good things to take from this are DWill's Nets are 29th (the Nets comment is great) and every one of the Jazz opponents so far are in the top 10. No I wouldn't put much into these rankings, but I do think the Jazz have had one of the more difficult schedules if not the most difficult (considering opponents and home/road, not really structure of the schedule)

The only reason I am glad about DWill/Nets being that lo is that it is one more team below GSW. Other than that I wish DWill the best of luck.

That's true, but a part of me is happy that he is probably realizing how much better he had it here in Utah.

We're not last!
