Few tidbits of interest in the newest issue of ESPN The Magazine.
They did a mock draft where current players select picks for their teams. They had Al Jefferson do the picks for the Jazz
. He picked Kemba #3 and Donatas Montiejunas #12. Baron Davis took Klay Thompson #4. So... there's that. No player picked Jimmer in the Top 14 for their teams.
Then in the ranking of the franchises of the 4 major sports the Jazz ranked 62/122. So middleish. The criteria was Title Track (how close to a championship), Ownership, Coaching, Players (on/off field), Fan Relations, Affordability, Stadium Experience, Bang For The Buck (wins per dollar spent by fans). I don't know if I agree with the rankings though. Jazz are 30 spots behind the NO Hornets, and 10 spots ahead of the New York Yankees.
