What's new

ESPN West Rankings

It's such an unknown. 12th is probably based on the record the Jazz had after the trade. New coach, young players still developing. I'd probably pick most, if not all, those teams ahead of Utah in a "most likely" scenario. But I'm a homer and I'm counting on Favors, Millsap, Jefferson and Hayward to have very good years, and Harris to be better now that he's had more time to learn the offense. Even so, I don't see the Jazz being better than .500. If that translates to #9, that would be a great scenario,as Utah would keep their pick. And I hope GS finishes one spot better and doesn't move up in the lottery.

It's all meaningless anyway, they haven't even played a game yet.

While yes it is mostly meaningless it is still an interesting subject. To me at least.

I would put the Jazz around 9-10 and just missing the playoffs. I think they will be better than people think. Next year the Jazz will be much better and heads will turn.

After watching the Kings Lakers game last night they are better then the 13th team in the west. There is no way the suns are better then the Jazz. Espn lists Nash Hill and Gortat as their studs if that's the case the suns are in for a long 66. The suns are not going to be better then the Jazz.

Too many wins I think. Place might be right, but the bottom teams aren't going to be winning 24 games.

I agree, I guess I've just had with conjecture, I'm ready for them to show us where they belong: At the bottom like the team that got dominated by Portland on the road, or somewhere in the middle like the team that hung on to beat Portland at home?

I see three teams above the Jazz who may finish worse (Denver, Houston, and Phoenix), and I see two teams below that may finish above. Minnesota is loaded with talent and Sacramento will be good if they can put it together. New Orleans is probably going to suck but they've got enough pieces to surprise... a little.

Denver is being underrated by Espn. I think they will be a top 5 team
