What's new

Everyone keeps saying we need a "closer" for the end of games.

The funny thing is, if we would quit bringing Al/Marvin/geriatric PG back into the game, the score wouldn't be close enough to need that closer.

Interesting.

Lmao geriatric PG. that's gold. And I agree.

That's my problem with Al. Sure he can score 20, but inefficiently and he gives up that much on the other end all while killing the offensive flow. He's a net negative to the team.

I would hope Mo would be that closer type but he turns into a chucker at the end of games. Though one game he did hit the game winner.

Isn't there a thread right now about how Ty should have given Hayward a rest in the 4th? He just can't win can he?

I think Hayward and Burks will turn into closers and Kanter, Carroll and Favors into stoppers at the end of games.

Give me a break. Giving Hayward a three minute rest from the 12 min mark to the 9 min mark has NOTHING to do with Al sucking the life out of the team.

Corbin can't win because he is an idiot.

Don't play Hayward and Burks 20 straight minutes. Don't keep going to players that lose you leads and games. Don't keep starting the same crappy six players, and think that somehow something different will happen.

When Jefferson came into the game last night, we were down 2. We were tied at the end of regulation. In the games I have seen (national games only), Marvin Williams has never come back into the game at the end. Good post, though.
