I haven't seen a thread for this. I'm assuming most of us are in fantasy leagues. Feel free to post your questions and advice here.
I'll start, I have Cam Newton at QB. Last week, at the last minute, he was declared, "out" for week 1. I rushed to the waiver wire and picked up the best QB I could, Tony Romo. Granted, he isn't Brees or Manning, but romo has typically served fantasy owners fairly well. I thought a home game against a wounded Niners team wasn't a bad matchup...
Boy, was I burned. Romo looked like a shell of himself.
Now, I have the Bengals defense. A pretty good defense but they're facing the Falcons. I gotta find another defense. The Packers are still available and will host the Jets. The Bucs defense is still available and they play the Rams. The Rams appear to be a monster dumpster fire but the Jets have been a dumpster fire for 2+ years.
So my question is, start a less than 100 percent Newton who's playing at home against the Lions and waive Romo to get me a defense?
Which defense?
