A qualified entrant is any current (of this posting) member of the Jazzfanz community who upon winning will attend the Jazzfanz get together linked above.

To enter you must post in this thread. On Tuesday, April 7th at 8pm, I will select a winner via a random selection process.

The winner will have 24hrs to claim their prize by confirming that they will attend the poker tournament free of charge or post tournament get together.

For the free tournament entry, if the selected entrant is unable to attend the tournament, or does not respond within 24hrs, another entrant will be selected.

I (Gameface) will pay the entry fee of the first prize winner, including any optional side wagers such as a bounty or high hand jackpot.

The winner of the free tournament entry must be committed to attending the tournament in the event that they win. Entrants are not required to attend in any circumstance where they do not win free entry.

The grand prize winner must collect their prize in person at the get together between 3pm and the beginning of the second half of the Jazz vs Portland game. If unclaimed it will be randomly awarded to another guest.

The selection process will be conducted by loading the names of the entrants into my tournament director software and randomly assigning the dealer button. The person who gets the button in the first round will win the grand prize. I will then reassign the dealer button. The person who gets the dealer button on the second round will get the free entry. If the same person gets the button both rounds I will randomly assign the dealer button again until a new name is selected.

I'm actually 100% serious.

I was like 10% going to come to poker (family thing), but I am doing my damnedest to get out of it. I'm now sitting at 70%. It will rise to 100% if I win this thing.

So some updated info in the OP based on Jason's generous addition to the giveaway.

Some key points:

-Prizes must be claimed in person at the event.

-You do not need to play in the tournament to get the gift card, you just need to show up before the second half of the Jazz vs Portland game.

-If you win the free tournament entry you DO need to play in the tournament. If you are unable to do so please let me know and I will redraw for a new winner.

-Selection will take place tomorrow, April 7th at 8pm (see OP for selection process)
 
If you've posted in this thread your name is going into the drawing. If you want to opt out please indicate that. If you only want to be considered for one drawing or the other feel free to indicate that ahead of time.

I really highly encourage anyone signed up for the tournament to enter. Someone's gonna win. Why not take the freeroll if you can get it?
 
If one of my alts wins, I'll still be your DD. If I win both, then we'll split an Aby's sandwich at the food court and go get our jersey's together.
