No, he had been playing like a chucker. He has changed his shot selection.

Against Minny, he still hoisted 7 treys--more than half his non-foul FGA share, and he shot more than once every two minutes--just like he has for the past three games. That's still chuckin'.

Maybe he's taking it to the hoop once or twice more often, but they key difference is that he's makin' 'em inside and out more often, which probably accounts in part for his increased FTs in the last 5 or 6 games. Still averaging 30% from downtown for the season.

He had one that was a halfcourt buzzer beater attempt. We can at least knock that one off.
 
Kevin love is overrated. They`ve never won anything with him. His defense is not very good, and he certainly likes to pad his rebounding (although he is a very good rebounder), he has no problem taking away a rebound out of another teammates hands so he can get his stats.

They are fools for offering him a max deal.

Every great rebounder does this. They fight for every rebound, not really paying attention to who is around them, just the ball, at all times.

I agree he is overrated though. I would never pay a max deal to a PF who shoots 41% from the field and takes 5 3 pointers a game. Add on to that he is an average defender at best. He would benefit greatly from having JONAS VALANCIUNAS on his team, but the Wolves made the mistake by not drafting him.

The Wolves would be the youth version of the championship Mavericks.

Rubio = Kidd
Barea = Barea
Jonas = Tyson
Love = Dirk

They would only be missing some perimeter defenders and shot makers like Deshawn, Marion, Terry, and Peja.

Or Rubio = Kidd. They are rookies. They have no proven anything yet. Lets see what they can do for a while before we call them the equivelant of established players.
 
To answer my question to CT, only decent defensive center from european origin that currently plays in the NBA is probably Marc Gasol. Not going to count Joakim Noah, seeing as he grew up here.

Whats the weight disparity between Gasol and Jonas again??

Wouldn't be surprised if Jonas became a slightly more athletic Andris Biedrins.
