Stars beat the Skyforce last night to move ahead of them in the standings. Five players finished in double figures for the Stars. Tyler Cook led the team with 26 points on 13-of-17 from the field and added seven rebounds, and four assists. Christian Vital came off the bench to record 23 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Jeenathan posted a near double-double with 22 points, and nine rebounds, while Rawle Alkins, coming off his previous game’s triple-double, talled 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Frank Jackson finished with 18 points, four rebounds and two assists. Justin Champagnie led the Skyforce in scoring, notching a double-double to finish with a game-high 43 points to go with 13 rebounds. Another Skyforce player Ainge and company might keep an eye on is Brandon McCoy who is a center that was a McDonald's All American and played a year at UNLV.
