What surprised me about the 3 pts is was the confidence that he took them. Part of shooting is just confidence. I would like Rudy to develop some out side shot because it makes the defense cover him when he is at the top of the key. Also, it would open up the lane and Rudy could drive to the basket easier. Go back and watch how teams play Rudy they sag off of him because they know he wants to dunk and will not shoot it from there. Rudy needs to shoot them with confidence and with the same stroke. No hesitations.

More importantly how are the Jazz going to totally tank the 2022 season, so they can get the 2023 #1 pick - Victor Wenbanyama. I can see a David Robinson scenario - where Rudy misses a good chunk of the season, so we just let the team keep losing. Maybe Donovan Mitchell gets the scoring title that year, but we lose more games than anyone else in the league. Then we get our twin towers of Wenbanyama and Gobert - and win a title in Wenbanyama's rookie season with him at 7'3" playing the stretch 4.
