Good fit for a trade?

The Bulls want to give Omer Asik and Taj Gibson new deals, so they’re exploring ways to trade Luol Deng and/or Joakim Noah to teams that can send them a trade exception and a No. 1 pick.

We have 2 first round draft picks next year and at least 2 trade exceptions (we usually never use them), so why not work a trade for Deng to play small forward for us? My bad if this has already been discussed.

If the Jazz got the 8th pick, I could have seen us floating the trade exception + 8th pick for Deng. I don't know if the Bulls are willing to take back the salary of Jefferson for a year. If they are, that would be a great trade for us. The starting lineup of Boozer/Jefferson is making me laugh.

Using the Memo TPE, we're maxed out at $10,990,000. You can't combine exceptions, so that's the most we can take back on a single player. Deng makes too much, and anyway, I'm quite sure Chicago wants a pick in this year's draft, not next years.

A Boozer/Jefferson combo is so crazy, it just may work.
 
I am on board for getting Deng. https://jazzfanz.com/showthread.php?10865-A-trade-idea-(somewhat) I don't think we really need a defensive minded Noah. Not saying I wouldn't love to have him but we need some offense in those positions. Favors is going to be our defensive stopper. Maybe not as quite as good defensively but that shouldn't be our focus. SF and PG should be what we're looking for. Perhaps Deng is a little overpaid, but this guy can really play. I would love to have him playing for the Jazz.

Jazz don't have anything Chicago would want, namely a lottery pick in this upcoming draft, or a good SG, especially when you consider matching salaries.

So no, the Jazz aren't a good fit.

Any team that wanted Boozer the Loozer might want someone off our team, unless you think Boozer was a great player.
 
Holy ****. Noah here would be the ****. But at 12.6M per year for four more years? Oof. I'm not sure. I think I'd pull the trigger though on something though. Noah and Favors upfront would be sick. But I'd still want Millsap too so which one would be willing to come off the bench?

Millsap would have no choice. If Noah and Favors were on this team then Millsap would be the 3rd best big, and Kanter might even be nipping at his heels after a couple of years.

How long until you see kanter is a bust? I said duofus sucked when he was in utah and i was right. Yall just better start listning to me more cuz i believe i am right most of the time even though it gets under most people here skin.
