Good Trey Burke Article/Interview

Is that really a saying? Most cold climate peoples I can think of are very nice. Canadians, Inuit, Scandinavians, Himalayan cultures. Pretty much everyone except for the Russians. :P

Most Americans I've met seem way nicer than Canadians. Srsly.

And yeah, I think it stems from the hospitality of some of the Southern European countries.

Americans are probably the nicest people around, in general. Others might be nicer in certain contexts, but Americans couldn't care less about most social conventions and will treat everyone pretty much the same.

America thru is very nature is learning to be accepting. Melting pot for the win!

I feel like Canada is less racist. I have friends who've moved from various big cities to come to school here-- my good friend (an African-American from Chicago) says big cities in Canada are way more comfortable to live in, as an ethnic minority.

Still though, one can be super accepting, and respectful-- but still be 'distanced'.

From what I've encountered, most Canadians maintain 'distance' much more so than my American friends that I've made over the years.

That's what I mean by hypothesizing Americans being nicer, from a general basis. Still love my country more than yours, doe.
