Great lecture for those who have the time

I'll def give that a watch...a lone the same vein, this came out this year:

https://timeisillmatic.com/

I ordered this on demand the other day. I liked it. Illmatic is one of the all time greats so it did it a great service. I liked the Tribe documentary Michael Rapport made as well. I haven't heard anyone come out in the last few years who can come close to the level of Hip Hop like the greats from the 90's

Rap is for dick bags and poop weasels. Not surprised you two like it.

I'm not surprised you are ignorant to an art form that doesn't exist in the small bubble you live in, and already have your prepackaged thoughts on it given to you by your fellow white conservative middle class mormons.

Well duh. It's been hard, but I managed to make it through my entire life without ever hearing a rap song. It's not like it's the most popular genre in the world or anything. I mean, it's not featured on every form of media and entertainment, from books, magazines, radio, TV, or the big screen, so although it was a challenge, I did it. Thank goodness nobody I've ever known or hung out with ever listened to rap either.

Can you imagine how easy it would be to form even a simple opinion, let alone an opinion based on years of being subject to it, if the above scenarios were true? Crazy, right?

You can hear all the rap songs you want. You know nothing of Hip Hop or the culture. There is no chance you've ever associated with anyone who does as evidenced by your sentiments in this thread and through all the other filth over the past year I've seen your posts.
