Interestingly Portland has sent Luke Babbitt and Aarmon Johnson down to the Stampede and Denver sent two players today. The talent level has gone up in th DLeague.

Surprised by Luke Babbit being sent down as it looked like he gave Portland some good minutes in the pre-season games vs. the Jazz.

When Portland made the pick of Babbitt and Johnson I kind of thought wow are you sure? Both grew up in Reno and went to UNR for college. That is not to say you can't have ballers out of Reno, but the percentages aren't with you because of population. Shoot, let's have two first round draft picks for the Jazz that grew up in Boise and went to Boise State. Wouldn't you be getting a little nervous?
