Just joking around, being outraged at young guys not playing and what not.

I mean, since the Jazz season is over, I have to find some high potential youth to complain about their lack of playing time over veterans.

Robinson was the 5th overall pick in the draft.

Houston has also played Motiejunas 1 game for 5 minutes in the playoffs. He was the 20th pick in the 2011 draft.

PKM's boy T.Jones has played in two games during the playoffs, for 17.5 mpg. He appears to be getting another DNP for game 4.

Maybe mchale is making the same mistakes as corbin then.
Maybe the rockets would have a shot at winning this series if mchale were playing robinson, jones, and monte more minutes.

I don't follow the rockets enough to know whether they play better with those guys on the court or not.

I do follow the jazz very closely though and know that the jazz play better vs thier opponents when the young guys are in..... if the case is the same for the rockets then thier fans should be pissed that they are not getting playing time.

See, most of us "corbin haterz" want corbin playing the youth more because we are better as a team when they are in the game...... its not like we are saying always play young guys over vets.... what we are actually saying is play the best players the most minutes regardless of thier age.
For the jazz, that means play the young guys more.
I have no idea if its the same for the rockets

You say that now, but when the rookies were rookies, they make mistakes, have lots to learn, and don't get calls. You've got to experience some growing pains if you want to develop for the long term. They should have made more of an effort to get the youth minutes , not because the C4 were better then Foye or Howard then, but because it is the smart thing to do for the long term.

I say that if burks is better than watson, then play burks instead of watson.

If Carroll is better than marvin then play carroll more.

If hayward is better than foye then play him more.

If favors or kanter is better than jeffy or sap then play sexual turkey more.

If the opposite is true then I'm fine with keeping the youth on the bench and playing the vets big minutes.

Its not complicated

What I saw from the jazz this year was that the younger players were usually better than the older players but corbin almost always chose the older crappier guys to give the crucial minutes to.
 
You say this now in hindsight, but there were times in the past when the vets looked more solid than the rookies, and I still think they should have found more court time for the young guys then.

The first mention relating this thread to the jazz came in post 4, which is the post quoted above. So perhaps cy, you should read your own posts? Who is turning this into a thread about the jazz?
