The Cavs are worse than bottom-dwellers so you know they will be blowing up their team. Any chance we could land one of these guys? I cannot imagine any of them are untouchable. Would we want any or would anyone be an upgrade for us?

Daniel Gibson is the only player I would want. And CJ Miles for him is a decent trade. But we would need to play D-Will at the 2 on defense and play Boobie at the 1 on defense. Than switch on offense.

But I would try and package Millsap and CJ for somebody before we did this.

Hickson would be great coming off of the bench, but he's probably one of their most desired players league-wide.... pro'lly cost too much.

Yes, Gibson would be nice as well.

My imagination for how to acquire these guys is pretty poor. A lot of the scenarios that I can envision off of the top of my head are basically lateral moves.... that is, unless we can make AK or Memo the main outgoing chip.

Varejao? Decent defensively. Energy guy. Idk.

Manny Harris is intriguing, looks like he has a solid three point shot and can play both PG and SG. Cavs would want a lot for him though.

I thought about Harris too. Not a bad idea to get a few young guys to come up from the ranks. Then we can hope Sloan retires so the young guys actually get some burn.

It seems if there was a team willing to take on Okur the Cavs might be it. They have nothing resembling a competent center unless they go small with Varejo there. If Memo returned to form it could be a great boon for them. Memo at age 30 doesn't fit into their rebuilding plans but could help them from being the laughing stock of the league, which will eventually kill attendance revenue for them.
