How close the 97 Finals was

Clicking on this thread was like seeing a picture of your ex you thought was "the one" making out with another dude.

The Jazz could win 5 titles in a row and it would still hurt to watch any footage from either of those Finals series.

Frickin' Shandon Anderson. I remember that I had told some co-workers that I would shave my head if the Jazz went to a game 7 and was starting to think it was going to happen and then Anderson missed the layups. I don't care that Pippen hung on the rim because Anderson still should have made that layup, and the previous one. He was Matt Harpring before Matt Harpring when it came to MLA's.

Before Shandon there was Benoit...

talk about rubbing salt in a wound.

Hopefully, Favors and Kanter end up being the next Robinson/Duncan (or something sorta close to it) so we can win this thing...

On the contrary, watching this stuff, it seems hopeless that the Jazz will ever feature such insane cohesiveness, top-heavy talent, and subsequent high-level and intense play.

As always, I hope I'm wrong. But the 90's were an awesome era in basketball and the Jazz were a huge part of that.
