HOw did Carroll out play the whole Jazz team in Game 4

If it wasn't for his hustle when everyone else had given up this game would have been a massacre. I mean given the minute Hayward was given all year long to see a dleague hustle player come in and show him how to play with heart must be humiliating. I think we could find a dleague player to outplay Big Al easily.

What about the 10 points Big Al scored in the final stretch? Including a key offensive rebound and put back to keep hopes alive?

This is why I'd like to see Carroll retained. He's a hungry guy who hustles his 'butt' off. Those kind of guys with marginal skills won't win you games (see Ronnie Price), but they can give you opportunities to win games by changing the momentum and flow. He's not a make-or-break FA, but I do think Carroll would be a perfect backup SF bringing you the intangibles and hunger an established vet simply wouldn't have.

He is a perfect backup SF if you have other people who can score/space the floor for his cutting ability. He would have been a good player in the Sloan/Dwill era, like Ronnie Brewer.

How about the key layup he conceded to Tony Parker after that to destroy that hope?
Get over Al dude, you vastly underestimate how detrimental his defense is.

You mean the layup Parker missed? I guess he challenged it enough to prevent one of the best under the rim finisher in the league from making it.

I agree Millsap, Hayward, AJ and Harris all disappointed in my mind. Yes they had moments but they performed below their normal production. Why did Carroll out play most of our players because he actually tried. I would rather have him back than entitled Bell, Howard and CJ back. Jazz fans care most about effort. Yes we want talent and victories but we can appreciate any player who plays hard.

Seriously, I am ready to get rid of the dead weight on this team. Let the Big Four start to build chemistry and get experience. Add some hustle guys, more picks and a few key FAs who are tough and play hard.

I want Favors, Burks, Hayward, Kanter, Millsap, Carroll, Evans, Tinsley and possibly Harris or AJ. I don't think the Jazz can move both Harris or AJ but I would like them to get rid of one of them. CJ, Watson, Bell and Howard need to go. I want KOC to get a first round pick in this draft and to focus on Gordon, Harden and Brandon Rush.

How did Carroll out play anybody? I guess you could say he outplayed everyone relative to skill level/expectations, but lets not act like actually played better than Harris or Jefferson.

He played harder and with ferocious tenacity. You can't say that about anyone else, except maybe in spurts. I really liked that block by Harris. Showed some heart on his part, but I still think we need a better distributor.

I think Millsap played pretty pi$$ poor for the whole series too. He was terrible

Bingo, I like the guy usually, but total fail this series. /cry he didnt get calls. I know I know....Not like he was the only problem. It doesnt help playing a team that makes you pay EVERY time you make a little mistake.
About Carroll, meh, the fan favorite is always the backup QB...until he gets actual minutes and then it becomes obvious why he was the backup in the first place.

No. I mean the layup Parker made on the Spurs possession immediately following Jefferson's key offensive board and one. The Spurs promptly took the ball down the court and ran the pick and roll at Jefferson and Parker got a layup. Big Gay Al didn't even contest. So no, I don't mean the layup Parker missed artard.

I actually would mind Bell if Carroll came back. It's bringing back Howard (not the same since his knee injury) and CJ I don't want.
