How Hurt is Watson?

Not sure but I agree that Watson is big for Utah. The second unit needs its Bulldog General

Second Unit? The whole team needs him in the game helping to set the tone. With Bell and Watson out, who will be the tough guy on the team?

It's a pretty good sprain but he'll be re-evaluated today. He'll be with the team but is doubtful tonight. Knowing Earl, he won't miss much. He's too much of a tough guy. Remember when Favors sprained his ankle earlier this season? He only missed 1, maybe 2 games. I don't think he'll be out long. But yeah, we need him bad. Hope he's ready to go soon.

RT@jonrinehart: X-rays on Earl Watson's sprained left ankle were negative. He'll travel and be re-evaluated in the morning, but is doubtful.

Well yes the whole team needs him. Obviously. By pointing out just the second unit I was trying to emphasize how much they rely on him as a leader. Even more so that the starters.

We'll especially need him tonight vs. GS ... thoughts of Ellis, Curry and Thompson draining 3's unguarded gives me nightmares....

tinsley looked bad

Tinsley was alright, he played decent D and didn't turn the ball over. He's not a scorer. Against their little guards he's going to have to play a lot if Bell is out again.

The Jazz need someone who can run the offense (and defend) at the PG spot--not a scorer.

Tinsley has a full 1 1/2 to 2 assists more per 30 minutes than Harris does, and about 4 fewer points. So his impact on points is likely to be at least as good as Harris's. But he's played a mere 45ish minutes TOTAL for the Jazz, despite the times when Devin has sucked rocks.

My ideal PG for this teams would be an aggressive pass first guy that plays D and can hit the kick out 3. Not a scorer but he can take that shot if needed and i s enough of a threat that he pulls his man out of the paint for our bigs.

Yea, that's the guy that got hurt.

Well I guess we get to see what Tinsley can do tonight. I like Watson, but he tries to be too cute with his passes at times.

Earl has been playing hard for us this year and I'll miss him every minute he's out. Get better quick Earl!

But yeah I want to see what Tinsley has left too.
