Lakers-Slapper - the big question is, what did the Jazz do, who did they pick, and then what SHOULD they have done. If you go back through their picks, I think only once or twice did they make HUGE blunders. Like the Almond pick. Who was left? Affalo and Splitter. Splitter wasn't an option because Utah thought they were competing for titles, and he wasn't coming over for awhile and the Jazz needed help. So you can't kill them for that.
As far as AK goes, whose call was that? If it was LHM's, then I'm not going to blame KOC. If it was KOC's then he cost us a shot at a title by over-reacting. The Jazz haven't made any huge mistakes, and KOC has taken us from John and Karl, to competing, to full rebuild mode, BUT with good looking talent. I do think the timer has officially started on his job. If Kanter/Favors/Hayward/next year's pick isn't an All-Star in 2-3 years, then he made be out of a job.
