Forgive me if we have one of these already, but I figure it is noteworthy.

Utah is headed to Orlando for the AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer League this year. Due to space limitations, even if you make it down there, the event is not open to the public and will be open only to the media and professional team/league personnel. Games will begin at 11 a.m. from July 9-12, and at 8 a.m. on July 13. The site does not say if they'll be televised, but I'm sure NBATV will pickup a few games.

Jazz games (All times EST):

July 9th 3:00 p.m. Utah @ Detroit
July 10th 11:00 a.m. Philadelphia @ Utah
July 11th 5:00 p.m. Utah @ Orlando
July 12th 3:00 p.m. Indiana @ Utah
July 13th 8:00 a.m. Utah @ OKC

What's the whole mindset with Orlando again? I mean it is Orlando, not exactly lacking in venues of any sort. Why do you hate fans so much that they go out of the way to exclude them?

So who will be there? Kanter, Burks, DeMarre and a bunch of training camp fodder?

Roster has not been released yet. Expect those players, plus our 2nd rounder. Seems like there was some jawing about Hayward going "just cuz", but I can't substantiate that with a link of any kind.

It was tweeted a few days ago that Tony Gaffney had been invited to play with Utah. Supprised that didn't make the headlines.

Way more exciting than most Summer League Jazz teams. We will also have our 2nd rounder pick out there.

Yeah Kanter starting should be exciting. I don't think I've seen him play more than 25 minutes in a game....
Burks against lower level competition should be exciting too.

Summer league is going to be the Burks Party. Hayward and Favors will bow out after 2 games, maybe 3. Kanter will look just fine playing all of them. Burks will play them all as well and kill.

(It won't mean anything in case anyone cares. But it will look good.)
