Mayil Shayock. Since we like Iowa State players see Naz and Niang this guy had a big game in the Portsmouth Invitational yesterday. He is a transfer from Virginia and a Canadian. Knows how to play D. Possible UDFA or 2nd round pick. was an Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention selection and a Julius Erving Award Finalist (Small Forward of the Year) ... an All-Big 12 First-Team selection, he led team and finished second in Big 12 Conference averaging 18.7 points per game ... also averaged 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists ... only player nationally and one of just eight since 2009-10 to average 18.5 points while shooting at least 49 percent from the field, 38 percent behind the arc and 87 percent at the free throw line.

He's old, but I wouldn't mind him in the 2nd, don't really agree that he knows how to play D though. Pretty average college defender.

The MVP of the Portsmouth tournament was a 5'9" guard from Campbell Chris Clemons. He averaged 31 ppg this year and dropped 45 on Georgetown. He does not appear to be a point guard as he averaged only about 2 assists per game. Our Iowa State guy made first team all tournament.
