What were his combine numbers? Those are vetted pretty exhaustively.

As for his play. . . consider me pleasantly surprised. He still looks like a PF to me. I really like the Boris Diaw comparison, but physically, I think he's much more athletic than Diaw. I honestly can't think of a good comp for him because he's not really like any other player that I've seen.

He needs time and experience at the PF position to learn how to defend and box out bigger players inside. Not worried about that at all. He looked exactly like I'd expect a player who is used to defending smaller guys on the perimeter to look in his first real solid time inside.

Furkan Aldimer. I had dreams of him being a jazzman. He is a great rebounder, and would be a nice 4th big on a playoff team. I hope Philly frees him.

I bet the Jazz training staff are excited to work with trey. He will look good when he gets some work in.

Two small concerns with Trey, he didn't rebound the ball very well, and he didn't seem to have much bounce. Can't wait to see him more in Vegas.

I don't particularly care. I think he can play both. I really liked what I saw from him in the SL game and think he has the skills to play either.

For not practicing with the team much he looked really fluid within the offense. For having just arrived in SLC I can't blame him for the bounce or energy. He may just be an in control player, not a high energy player. He was going against a very good rebounder and had another one on his own team. however he may just not be a great rebounder at either forward position. With Favors, Gobert and Booker on the team he probably doesn't need to be great at that to fit in.
.
I guess I just did not see those as concerns. At least not yet.

At this point we have to hope he takes the back up PF spot from Booker by the end of the season. I think he will.
