It is almost too painful to read the quotes from the Sixers Forums

Their team (and their fans) have been kicked in the nuts continuously for the past four years. Their forums have a distinct graveyard type of feel.

Here are the forums: https://www.libertyballers.com/2016...read-nba-sixers-embiid-simmons-draft#comments

Two examples:

So I’m fortunate enough not to be able to watch tonight, but seems like they have the familiar blowout loss/gut-wrenching loss/blowout loss rotation down early this year.

What an awful game big surprise. Maybe one day we’ll have wings that can make a play. Rodney Hood and Gordon Hayward are like Pippen and Jordan compared to the trash we roll out there. I’ve seen enough of Jah to last a life time by the way. I know he had 15 or so and a couple of nice dunks but he missed 2 or 3 bunnies because of his lack of explosion versus there length plus the usual bad defense and rebounding. Not taking Porzingis was a GIGANTICmistake by Hinkie. I mean how much garbage is this fan base going to be expected to eat. This is almost an unprecedented four year streak of awfulness it looks like its going to be.

And now, the quotes from their forums about the Jazz:

’m afraid that this one could be a rough one. Jazz have size, length, shooting, and depth. George Hill being out is nice since his being tearing it up to start the season, but Hayward is back so between him and Rodney Hood the Jazz easily can make up for Hill’s loss. I’m just watching to see Embiid abuse the Stifle Tower.

I had this circled on the schedule as Tibor Pleiss revenge game where is he?

Jazz are on the second night of a back to back, maybe we can catch em sleepin'

Man, Gobert is just such a deterrent in the paint. On top of all his blocks, guts just dont want to go in there. He's made Sergio look like TJ when he gets inside.

gobert cannot be stopped

that okafor "defense" on ingles... smh

That 2nd quarter was brutal. Gobert is holding down the paint and Hayward/ Hood getting any shot they want

Getting destroyed by Rodney **** hood and Biid not playing well at least save the tos for the 4th quarter.

between Hood and Hayward this could get rough.

Can't complain about lack of passing with a mannequin challenge offense

Jazz were just killing us on PnR off ball handler scoring.

If we just hang in there, Utah could fade at the end of this one, being on a back-to-back and all

lmao @ mr. hayward complimenting the parking situation at the sports complex (This was Hayward's dad at the game)

Jazz Destroy the Sixers’ sort of team. Can at least get out and run and get Cavs to do the same to juice the variance. Jazz just pin you down and keep dead legging you if you don’t have guards.

Jazz have big men who can nullify the Sixers’ lone strength.

Utah Jazz are just wearing us out defensively

76ers shooting 33 percent from three and have shot six more than the Jazz and by the way Jazz shooting 50 percent fm three

Jazz are on a back to back

That should change soon. They have their franchise player in Embiid. Simmons will be in a couple months. Okafor and Noel both would net some nice trade value (although not great).
They'll land Fultz, Smith, or Giles in the draft this year. And they'll have like 50 million to go free agent shopping next year.

Damn!!

No mention of their pg situation. Lol. Reminds me of the Jazz a year ago.

They may very well land 2 of those 3.

They need to shake off the injury bug just as badly as us though I reckon.

They need to work on screensetting in practice. Okafor 'set' some of the worst screens I've ever seen, and Embiid wasn't so hot either.

LOL .. Hood & Hayward are Pippen and Jordan now??!!??!!

How ironic!!!!!

Hood has looked like Pippin minus the elite defense of late. Hood looks as good as anyone on the team right now. Hitting open shots and he is driving and hitting contested layups. And that dunk he had, I think in the first or second game was wow!!

14 point and 9 rebounds in 19 minutes for a player's, what, sixth NBA game or something is pretty ****ing amazing actually. He turns the ball over, that's a legit downside but that's something rookies do (especially ones that produce now and become REALLY good later).

Also, he's got an amazing body. Wide, long, and muscled. So much for the "he weighs like 400 pounds now" ******** we heard in the offseason.

Strictly referring to their screens. Embiid had some beautiful offensive moves, obviously can grow in understanding (turnovers/fouls), but he looks special.

I like how the Sixer fans were complaining that their bigs weren't getting deep post position. Of course they aren't you idiots. You are playing the best post defense in the NBA. When things really get rolling we will even deny your entry passes into the post. Your only options are to play outstanding from the perimeter of get deep into garbage time (then the post defense will let up.)

Feels darn good to have consistency, even with the injuries.

You should give Jazzfanatical the credit for these since that's where you are stealing these from.
