I've seen enough. Hill is hurt so damn much and signing him and Hayward will really, REALLY tie us up and prohibit us from making those one or two moves we may need to make to keep the core together or take that next step in another year. Offer Hill three years, 50M, fine. And then say buh bye.

Isn't this why we loved Exum? The raw ability and upside. Let's roll the ****ing dice. Sign a capable backup. Deron. Ty. Shaun. Whoever. But someone that is a legit backup and can start if needed. Hell, maybe sign Deron/Ty and someone like Aaron Brooks for our 3rd/4th pg. This could save is 10-15M over signing Hill.

Use some of that difference on Muscala and vet minimum on Bogut and extending Ingles. Use our 1st, a 2nd this year and next and Burks to draft OG. Draft Semi wit the other 1st.

Nah, if you can sign Hill you gotta do it.

Develop Exum slowly and try to re-sign him to a reasonable deal. The last thing we need is for Exum to show just enough promise next year so that somebody throws a ridiculous offer at him.

I don't think this is how you convince Hayward to re-sign, either.
