Utah Jazz President Steve Starks was on 1280 this afternoon discussing the arena upgrades. A few points of interest.
All of the existing Luxury suites are sold out.
The new configuration will have some type of new suite package.
A group has already asked about purchasing the new suites.
There will be a small net-reduction in total seating capacity in the arena.
Fewer seats in the upper bowl, but not by much.
More food offerings in the arena.
Gail would only do it if ticket prices did not increase.
Some security and safety upgrades.
All work completed before 2017 season opens.
