Jazz ex pats in SL

There are some familiar names in Summer League. Kevin Murphy and Traveon Graham lead their team to an undefeated Orlando Summer League. Graham averaged 16 points on .568 shooting. Murph averaged 11.2 points on .422 shooting, Mike Tobey that is playing from the Jazz in Vegas averaged 10 points on .667 shooting and 6.8 rebounds in Orlando. Our old buddy Bryce Cotton is averaging 17.3 ppg for Atlanta and Jack Cooley is coming off the bench for the Bulls in Vegas.

Always liked Graham and Cooley. And not a single guy on this list gets off the bench this year. Damn nice to say that after seeing guys like Chris Johnson, Elijah Millsap, Chris Cooley, Bryce Cottonand Diante Garrett all get way more playing time than they should have. Jazz are talented and have depth (finally.)

The Jazz have 15 guaranteed contracts going into camp. Anyone that gets invited without a guarantee is hoping for a bunch of injuries.

They need help at PG, and I like the kid. . . so I hope he makes their roster. Don't think he's who you want as your primary backup. Pesky kid, but not a difference maker on defense. Think Neto has more upside.

Heck he did earn a playoff check with Memphis last year. He was something like their 23rd player that had signed during the year.

Former fan favourite Taurean Prince with 10 points on 5-11 shooting, 2 rebounds and 4 steals for the hawks today

I really liked Prince in the draft. . . more so at 20/21, than 12. Figured he'd be a DeMarre Carroll type of defensive energy guy. Has the body type to play the 3, with some time at the 4 in small ball. Still like George Hill better.

They have 14 guaranteed contracts. Withey is only guaranteed if he's on the roster in January. Same with Chris Johnson. But yeah, anyone with an invite will have to play amazing to make it.
