Why the jazz do this? They need a stretch 4. They need to cut salary. Also move up some in the draft.

Why the Lakers do it? They get some needed fire power off the bench. Added depth at center.

Kuzma and Bojan would be redundant. Bojan is the superior shooter and Kuzma the superior athlete and rebounder.

They both are average or worse on defense. They are both more PF than SF.

Kuzma is cheaper, younger and bigger which is why I like him compared to Bojan.

That has been my proposal for a while. If this was a draft night trade, we would have to take Gasol to match salaries. Might not be a bad thing if having Gasol helps convince Mike to stay for at least another year.
