I'm starting a Fantasy Football league on ESPN for jazzfanz enthusiasts.
Its going to be a $10 buy in and the buy in will be handled through https://www.leaguesafe.com/ The payouts will be $75 for 1st and $25 for 2nd (assuming we get 10 people to join.)
Why $10? Ever played poker for candy instead of $$$? Ya its dumb as **** and only little kids should do it. If you play in a league that isnt for money atleast 25% of the league wont even bother to show up for the draft, then there will be one or two guys that literally never even log on to look at their team. By the end of the season there will be maybe 3-4 teams active and if you do win, you get nothing.
With just a $10 buy in everyone will show up for the draft and stay active in the league. A competitive fantasy football league is freaking awesome.
BTW, I've used leaguesafe a dozen times and its as easy and safe as can be. FYI, playing fantasy sports is NOT considered gambling and therefore not illegal in any way. You can pay on the website with any card and if you win they send you a visa gift card. It couldnt be easier and they only charge 3% for the service. So your total buy in will be $10.30.
If you've never played fantasy football, trust me its awesome. I didnt even like the NFL until I started playing fantasy football and now I love it. You can know literally nothing about the NFL and still win the league. Its easily 10x more fun than fantasy basketball or baseball and isnt half the work. All you have to do is set your lineup on Sunday morning. Takes 5 minutes every week.
