We need to do another mini meet up soon. The weather is going to start getting better soon and people are going to have more going on, plus as my wife gets ever more prego it will become harder for me to get out of the house for jazz games, bowling, partying etc etc.

Any suggestions for a certain date/game? Should be a friday or saturday for a better turnout I think.

Next friday, the 4th of march, might be a good one to go to. Its against memphis, which is the same team we played and beat at the last mini meet up, which might have playoff implications. 6 pm so we could get some food and it would be over early enough for those who need to be home early.

Suggestions?
 
I thought the bowling idea worked out ideally. Drinks and food were readily available, the game was on a projector style big screen right down by the pins so you dont even miss any of the game while rolling your ball, and the bowling was fun and made things less awkward for hanging out with people you may not know very well.

True, and there will be no football game overlap in case some just wanted to hang out in the bar. The last place we went to was a good setting.

Sounds good. I'll have to put in for PTO, not sure if I can get it approved on short notice. If I can, I'm in.

I forgot about that. I was simply thinking weekend would work for you.

We need to campaign (in other words PM) the other posters on jazzfanz and try to get a better turnout.

I had a really really good time (thank you jamezz for staying late and partying with me and sharing your smokes) last meet up but I hope we can get more than 4 of us to show up.

I somehow always manage to be one of the last men standing. TMC life :cool:

And I agree, the more the merrier.
 
If I end up not being able to get the day off I'll check with you guys after work and see if the party is still going. I get off at 10:30pm and could be there around 11pm.
 
I would like to come to this. I am committed to something that Friday night but maybe it will fall through or I could rearrange it. Which bowling alley is this going to be at?
