Dekker or Hollis-Jefferson make a lot of sense here.

Dekker more complete offensive player, but HJ (lol) offers more and is viable for Hawks since they have so much shooting.

bifffffffffff, but this is the point of the draft where is just purely guessing on our parts.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Also kind of wanted to vote Hunter since I think Atlanta really needs a play-making wing and RJ has that potential more than Dekker or HJ.

they need a center and some wing depth(although they have Tavares in Europe)... I don't see any center being picked here so... If I had to guess... Hunter, RHJ and Dekker are all options here. It's kind of a crap shoot here. Also it's worth pointing out that a lot of their players have really progressed well with their shooting so they might have some good shooting coaches. I can see both Dekker and RHJ here.

I voted Dekker just for Demarre Carroll leaving insurance.

As an aside, I hope he leaves to go here, though the Jazz are stacked at the wings. Still he was one of my favorite players ever in terms of how little he was here. I hated the fact the Jazz didn't keep him, but so it goes.

Now I am just voting based on racial stereotypes and inborn racism inherent in us all.

How can you pick Dekker over Portis. Seriously people!

Did you see their wing depth in the PO? They are really lacking, though the more I think about it, I probably should have voted RJ Hunter. If teams like his workouts I could see him jumping this high since Atlanta really needs more playmakers.

But they also had Pero Antic and the corpse of Elton Brand as back up bigs.

I think Portis is a better fit and fills a need.

HOWEVER, I believe that backup bigs, aka bigs with flaws, are easier to find than starting caliber wings. I don't know if Hunter, Dekker, Vaughn or Hollis Jefferson will ever be solid starters. But if ATL thinks that one of them will be, then they should probably take the wing.

It wouldn't surprise me.

Still shocked that Jazz Nation went Frank over Turner.

If Trey Lyles drops this far, I think the Hawks take him. Having a body that is 6'10", 240 and played the SF at Kentucky, he can potentially play all three front-court positions in the NBA and is an insurance policy in case Carroll and Millsap leaves via free agency. I actually wouldn't mind if the Jazz took him at 12.

He can't play SF in the NBA.

He played SF at times at UK because their paint defense was so amazing they could afford to have a slow guy at the 3, and they needed a 3 because they had none.

Are they all coming back next season?
