He could lose a little weight IMO. His end to end floor speed is not the greatest but, his side to side quickness is very good. His euro step and shiftiness, reminds me of how Harden and Ginobili slash to the hoop. He is not as athletic as those 2, but he has that craftiness. Great foot work for only being 19 years of age.
He has a decent shot so far. Hopefully he will keep improving(35% 3P% and 84% FT% with 5.4 attempts per game). Its kind of a set shot, but his release is quick. His shot slightly reminds me of how Wes Matthews shoots.

I think he could be a very good role player on a team. Never a superstar, but a guy you can depend on, to do a little bit of everything.
He seems like he has a very long wingspan (Can't find measurements so far). He averaged 2.6 steals per game last year. Something our team needs to get guys like Hayward(if he is here) & Burks, and even our big's out on the break. As they all run well for their positions.

No thanks in the 1st round. he seriously had 0 dunks on the season last year, and is probably around 15-20% bodyfat which is an outlier for 1st round picks. also his steal's are great but they were compiled playing zone defense

that being said, I dont mind him at #35.

Don't know why, but I have a feeling if we keep that GS pick we might look at back up point guards. Payton or Napier.

Probably depends if Neto is coming over next year. I would find it odd if we drafted a PG and brought Neto over.
Neto said he wants playing time to develop. So he won't come be a 3rd string if he is getting over 20 minutes a game now.

Ya I don't think dunks determine whether or not someone is a good player or not. Finishing at the rim is something that would make more sense as a stat. Once Draft Express does there stats again or somebody else finds them then we can determine how good he is.
I am not sure on his body fat but from last year to this year he looked slimmer. I think he lost weight. So I bet he continues this coming year as his improvements were impressive from 1 year to another. Doesn't seem lazy. Sounds more like baby fat to be honest. Growing into himself.

Maybe. I'm just not convinced yet that Neto can play. At some point he's got to come over and compete for a job. No one is going to guarantee him minutes.

Last I heard a few weeks ago, he decided not to enter the draft. Has that changed? I really like him though. He's pretty polished for a Soph.

Edit: Just saw the posts in the draft topic saying he is indeed in the draft.

I'd be down. I still think the Jazz should move up to that 14-18 range with that pick if guys like TJ Warren and Kyle Andersen are really going to be there like projected. But at 23, I'd definitely take Adams.

I am sure there is better players for sure. I just think its rare to find guys that can play defense, shoot the ball, and be able to slash with craftiness not just athleticism. Most guys his age rely on speed and athletic ability.
He is a polished player and I think will get better as time goes on. Seems like a for sure player in this league. Not a for sure star or anything like that. Just a for sure role player. Something that is undervalued.

I love Kyle Anderson as a player. He does it all. I honestly am really really worried with his ability to get by his defender. I honestly don't even know if he is quick enough to run a pick and roll. His foot speed is slower than most PF's and Centers. I hope I am wrong because he is a great player and very smart.

TJ Warren is talented but I worry about these tweener 3/4 players. Who can't shoot from the outside and are not big enough to play the 4 full time. I see them as Al-Farouq Aminu type players who can never carve roles in the NBA.
This used to be a known thing to not draft tweeners very high, but I guess everyone is trying to copy the Miami Heat recently. But not every team will have a Lebron.

The top teams come playoff time usually have 2 bigs down low. Lebron is a freak and the exception, but the Pacers, Grizzlies and Spurs all went to the Conference finals last year with 2 bigs
This small ball only works when the 4 can shoot.

I like Neto. I see him as a Tony Parker type player once he gets his floater down. He can break down the defense with his quickness. And his court vision is much better then Burke. Burke seems to put his head down, worrying more about his speed then who is open.

If we don't bring him over next year then I don't see the point in drafting him.

Any one at 23 is going to have flaws and all that any team can hope for is to find a contributor. I certainly think Adams can contribute but if any of these guys become all-stars then a franchise simply got lucky.

Are you saying that he is similar to Tony Parker's playing style, or that he can be as good as Tony Parker?

Cause…Tony Parker has been a top-10 PG for the past decade…he's really freaking good.

Similar playing style in terms of being able to break down the defense with the ball.

I don't like making predictions about who they will become. I only will make comparisons to styles and ability with what they have now.
He is very good at breaking down the defense. He is shifty also and his court visions is very good.
I see Neto as having that ability that Parker has, but he looks to pass more a little more than Parker does. Parker is a better scorer though and is faster.
Just their style of play is similar. He is a long way to go before being half the play Parker is.

I get what you're saying now. Just wanted to clarify.

Even though I like Jordan Adams a lot. I like Burks more. I really hope Cleveland takes Favors, 5 and 23 for the #1.
