Karl Malone has never offered public confirmation that he is the father of Demetress Bell. However, laboratory blood tests prepared for the Bell family's 1996 paternity lawsuit against Malone reportedly pointed to an over 99 percent probability that Bell's father was either Malone or a brother of Malone. Malone initially refused to respond to the lawsuit, but eventually reached an out-of-court settlement with the Bell family over the issue. The Bells received a single lump sum payment of a confidential amount, with no on-going child support for Demetress. In speaking later about the settlement, Malone's attorney asserted that it had not included an official court determination of paternity, and noted that Malone "had a lot of brothers".[2]

At age 20, NBA legend Karl Malone impregnated a 13 year old girl. He refused to acknowledge his son and only spoke to him once, saying it was too late for them to have a relationship. The child went on to play in the NFL.

Seems like a crazy story, the kid made the NFL and everything.

Apparently he still talks to the Malones, remember seeing him talk to @mamail on Twitter (and they were with each other in a photo or something)
 
Why would you settle out of court if someone accused you of having sex with a 12 or 13 year old if you we're truly weren't involved?

I'd fight that **** til my last breath.
 
Old news... really old news.

I dont think anyone claims Malone to be an upstanding citizen.
 
It Utah culture. If you're one of them, they'll excuse any wrongdoing. Just win/make money.
