Kelenna Azubuike waived by Cavs

Not really interested.

On a side note. I don't really care about the Braille situation anymore. He's not at camp that is good enough for me. Why buy out this douche and let him sign somewhere else? Let him rot and then go away never to be heard from again, after sitting out this entire season. If they need a roster spot waive him. But right now they don't. So make him sit and wait.

Seems like only yesterday Azebuike had achieved legendary status on these boards. How the heros fall.

But with his knees I wouldn't touch him. Speaking of bad knees, I wish we'd signed Morrison and cut Carroll. And I'm not kidding.

Pretty sure it was Numberica leading the charge.

It was a lot of people. We're always starved for what we don't have, and overrate players who can do those things. Azebuike could shoot. Anthony Morrow can, too, he's always been loved, and he's not a very good player. If we had a bunch of shooters who couldn't play, we'd want to trade shooters left and right for athletes on other teams who could defend, rebound, pass, and "probably learn to shoot." And around it goes.

For the record, I wanted Azubuike before he got hurt too.

I wouldn't have hated picking him up, either. I just think it would have been Kyle Korver all over again (and Korver has always been a better player than Azebuike.) But the board would have turned on him once they realized all he could do was shoot.

Calling KK a better player than KA is laughable, unless of course we're basing it purely on longevity. KA was a solid defender, maybe even very good and much better than Korver and he could create and get to the rim, not at an elite level but pretty solidly, something Korver could only dream of.

Me too. But now he's hurt. WE have plenty of depth on this team. All we really need is a young PG to take over in the near future from Mo. And the Jazz will need to make a decision on Marvin Williams. So far, I think he can be the SF we've needed, but will he be too expensive to extend/re-sign?
