I don't think I'd want any player that has spent that much time around JR Smith and Carmelo. But, yeah, they don't have any players we need. Everybody already knows we have plenty o Tyson Chandlerzz.

I think the Knicks would consider it. It's not a ridiculous trade. I like Shumpert for five reasons:

-Good defender
-Can shoot the three
-Doesn't turn the ball over very often
-For a SG he's a pretty good stat-filler
-Screamed at Carmelo for playing crappy defense

I would do 23rd for Shumpert for sure. Don't know why Phil wouldn't like him though. He has the potential to be like Ariza was in the triangle for the Lakers.

Offensively he is one of the worst wings in the league. He also had a torn acl and for a player that relies so heavily on athleticism thats dangerous. Doubt I would do the 35 even.
