In Denver, where marijuana was recently legalized, data shows that violent and property crimes have decreased over the three months of legalization, according to data from the Denver Police Department 2014 crime statistics and maps website.

Compared to the first two months of 2013, violent crimes decreased in January and February of 2014 by 2.4 percent, and property crime dropped by 12.1 percent. Reports of robberies dropped by 6.2 percent, reports of stolen property dropped by 13 percent

I think you may have missed the first bolded part. I have long said exactly that (second bolded part).

I didn't miss it, I just felt like reiterating how dumb that argument of personal health issues is.
 

If you vaporize it there is almost no smell whatsoever and its better for you health wise.

Also you can make butter out of MJ and spread it on toast or use to make mac n cheese or whatever and then you dont have to smell it

Yeah....my guess is that people don't bother with that too often considering entire portions of big cities in the US are engulfed in MJ smell and it's not even legal in most of them. But I think I'm also safe in guessing those alternative ways gain in popularity with legalization.
 
From what I understand, the process of making the butter pretty much destroys your kitchen/home. I've heard it takes months to get the smell out.

Incorrect.
I have made it and it smells for a bit but not more than a day.
 
Legalize it already. We need to get rid of the drug cartels.
