Check out east Fremont entertainment district. No lie. Reasonable drinks and great bars. Google insert coins. Zappos is moving its headquarters downtown and it's is radically changing. I can give you a ton of ideas, let me know what kind of money you want to spend. Cosmo has great restaurants and an amazing atmosphere..

Yeah hit up east Fremont. No cover at any of the bars all the best food trucks line up out side of them as well. Food and drinks are still reasonable, think of it as a mini, mini..gaslamp in sd.

The bars get packed, but insert coins has the biggest lines. The best thing to do is go downtown for dinner at one of the old casino that have the 10 dollar prime rib and **** like that. like the cafe at the "d". Formally the fitzgeralds. Then head up east Fremont. My favorite bars are the downtown cocktail room, the vanguard, insert coins. But he other are also fun just depends on what you are in the mood for.

The griffen is a rock bar, there is a dueling piano bar, live music at the beauty bar. There is also simple **** like Hennessy Irish pub. Just yelp all these places. Vegas Insiders know the party is downtown, if you are looking for a sure lay hang on the strip but from what I am gathering that's not in the cards
