HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I think it's only fitting that I post this. It sort of makes me feel like Bordy, high fiving myself!
 
I went to every florist I could find today, looking for the perfect bunch of flowers for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day tomorrow, and wouldn't you know it, every single one was all out of triffids.

Hope it was a good day for everyone and their mother :-)

and to those whose mothers have passed (as has mine) - - I hope you were able to reflect on pleasant memories!
 
My daughter got my wife a set of martini glasses and I got her a bottle of Tanqueray. How else are we going to keep her around?? If she ever sober's up we are screwed!! 2 teen daughters and a "teen husband" are not a good combo.

Dude I know exactly how you feel, only in my case it is a "teen husband" and 2 girls and 2 boys. Sometimes we have to lock her in her room from the outside for the night. I am thinking about putting in a guard tower.

By the way guess what I got my wife for mother's day this year? A LEATHERMAN! And she loved it. Tells you how far her standards have fallen in the last 19 years, huh?

My mother has the exclusive privilege of having me for a son. I also make the best father's day gift. It must suck that some of you are so brainwashed you have to try and buy your mother's love.

Mother's day is the worst. We usually have fairly large dinner get-togethers every Sunday with my family that is still in the area and mom cooks a great meal, we make fun of each other, one of the girls starts crying because she really thinks we are fighting and we call it a night. Great fun. Mother's day though, somebody else inevitably always offers to cook the meal and it ends up tasting like crap and you spend the next couple of days on the toilet.
