I'd have to grade Exum to Gobert a low C for their PNR and alley oops last year ....but clearly they were trying to show all teams they were a work in progress .Teams have to respect these two or they'll see themselves on the wrong end of a sportcenter highlite.
Actually the best passer I thought last year on alley oops was Ingles ,he made sweet passes .But I think this year Exum is going to start making these kind of passes.
They start connecting (Exum to Gobert) and building on last year with another year under a master in PNR plays (Coach Snyder),they could really disrupt defenses.

Exum runs the side pick-and-roll very smoothly. That's going to be a go-to play, like it is for Tony Parker and the Spurs.

I am interested on how the Jazz will use Lyles to Favors , or to Gorbert. This should really open up some opportunities for Burks, Hood and Haywood.

P&R is Quin's specialty. I'm hopeful that with a year under their belts that this young team is ready to open it up a little bit. I think Exum is going to thrive in that environment.

I can't wait to see Trey and Trey lead the second unit. Neither has been very shy about shooting (and missing). Probably a reason to keep Cooley. He could get 10 offensive boards off of their shots.

One thing not talked a lot about is Goberts screen ability. He possesses a great screen IQ and the fact that's he's so huge makes it hard to get around him. If he adds some muscle I agree he could be huge in the pick and roll. I'm just not sure what Exum is going to turn out to be.

If it's anything like he showed in the first two games of the SLC Summer League, there is no way it isn't a guaranteed 2 points every time he drives. Either by him or the post player oop. Sometimes 3 points.

I'm just worried that the bad sprain will cause him to rethink being aggressive. Let's hope he doesn't have an inner "see, I told you so" mentality.

Are you taking about exum?
He only played one game..... Well almost one game

That's right he did just play the first one before rolling his ankle in the 4th, but you got to admit not one person didn't like what they saw.

If Exum doesn't see an easy path to score or create he can just hand it off to Hood or Hayward and let them do work.

I LOVED what I saw.
Probably the best he has ever looked in his nba career.
