Ugh...This isn't supposed to be a sequel or retelling exactly but still, I wish it felt a little more like the originals. I don't know what to think. The 1:54-2:00 mark looks God awful on so many levels. I wish Miller would have kept it a bit more bleak and gritty. It feels too sexy (clean, hot, sweaty, Gucci model-ish) with bad CGI to boot, though there does appear to be a few really good legit car crash/action sequences.

I'm crossing my fingers but this thing has taken forever between filming and post-production which leaves me very nervous.
