Milsap+Harris for CP3?

1. CP3 can become a free agent after this season.
2. The Jazz play in Salt Lake City
3. Does Gasol/Odom = Martin/Scola = Millsap/Harris?
4. Pretty much points 1 & 2 equate to a "No."

And since there's no way Paul would resign in Utah (secondary question: even if he wanted to, would you want to pay a top-3 PG w/a bad knee a max-contract when you're rebuilding around a strong frontcourt and just experienced the Deron Williams era? - and CP3's extension would be even larger than DWill's previous one) I wouldn't even consider making a subpar offer of Sap and Harris for a 66-game rental of CP3.

Yes! I like it. Their might not be much of market for cp3 next year. If favors looks like the next Dwight Howard this year. And the team turns out to be really good. Maybe he might want to stay. Also we would have the option in a sign and trade. Paul would most likely want that extra year. So we could still get some value back. Sometimes in life you take chances. but no way it happens

You can't throw in Evans! Then Hayward would go on DWill on us when we traded his buddy Brewer away. I would not do this trade, especially if CP3 did not sign an extension.
