As opposed to belittling America, kissing the *** of other nations that do not like us and leaving our allies out to dry?

Whenever I read a KOC Begone post I just imagine him farting onto his keyboard and it somehow creating words which he then posts

He should have probably just agreed to have secret meetings with foreign leaders after he was on his final term, right?

I thought that England, and Russia were allies? Well, we could be besties with Israel they seem to not have any problems getting in no stop wars over nonsense.

England yes but I would not classify Russia as an ally. They are not the enemy but they are not our allies either.

Edit: On Foreign policy I'd like to see more outreach and strengthening of friendships with countries like Brazil, India and South Africa.

Speaking of kissing ***...

Amazing how repubs seem to have amnesia for 8 years. Either that or their mouths were closed. I never recall hearing any outrage from the right over this. It's not only kissing up but it's gay. So double wammy.

Guess it's ok as long as it's a white repub that does it...

It's amazing to me that the party which claims to follow the "olden days" and worships the Founding Fathers seems to forget this lil tidbit:

Washington advised the United States, in his Farewell Address, to remain a neutral player in the international political game. He urged the new republic to avoid conflicts and alliances with other nations. Although he felt that economic ties with other nations should be promoted to encourage trade and commerce, political ties should be minimal. He was concerned that having close relations could force the United States to unite with allies to promote their interest and be drawn into their war, such as what later occurred in World War I and World War II. Likewise, he was concerned that strongly discordant relations would do the same and that both situations could force the US into conflicts that may not be important to the US. In addition, he was concerned that these types of relations would cause passion driven foreign policy rather than policy based upon the nation's interest. Quoting him, "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world.

Thomas Jefferson:

"Commerce with all nations, alliance with none"

This saber rattling is getting tiresome. If Israel wants to attack Iran, let'em. If Iran wants to attack Israel, let'em. They have that right. They're big boys. Why do we need to get involved? Mitt is quick to talk about intervening militarily. I'll fight... If Romney and his kids are in the front line. Otherwise, f that. I ain't fighting and risk dying for two countries I couldn't give a damn about.

We can't be anywhere and everywhere at the same time. Lets focus on our own education, health care, and economy.

You have to remember my friend.....

The objective of the two major political parties are not to keep the peace, but to keep you in fear.
Keeping you fear of other countries possible attacks are the biggest tool both parties use to keep the dual party control.
War, the possibility of war, and even false flag operations have been used for over one hundred years in this country to keep the boogie man alive.

Romney is no different than Obama, and Obama is no different than Romney.
They BOTH want more war, will never follow the Jeffersonion model for internationalism, want to print more worthless money, and certainly don't believe that the Fed is in control of the military industrial complex.

The Saber rattling has been getting tiresome for the last 50 years. Ever since the United States overthrew Iran, and installed the Shaw.

The prime minister of Israel has already told the U.S. publically that they DO NOT need our help.
They have thousands over their own nukes.... duh.

Pissing off the British and Palestinians is sound policy if I've ever seen one...

When even right wing nutcakes like Charles Krauthammer are bashing Romney, you know you have something...

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/krautha...e-incomprehensible-a-lot-of-other-adjectives/

He said that Romney’s comments on the London Olympics were “unbelievable,” “incomprehensible,” and “a lot of other adjectives.” Krauthammer said Romney shouldn’t be saying anything on his international trip, except for kind words about the countries he is visiting.
“All Romney has to do, say nothing. It’s like a guy in the 100-meter dash. All he has to do is to finish, he doen’t have to win. And instead, he tackles the guy in the lane next to him and ends up disqualified. I don’t get it.

This might not be a game changer come Nov. But anyone that thinks that Romney has done anything positive with these comments is in serious denial.

Piers Morgan said that Romney was absolutely correct in questioning London's ability to keep the games secure. That said, Morgan is an asshat.

As far as pissing off the Palestinians, who cares? They're always pissed off anyway. We give them millions in aid every year and they'd still kill you just for being American.
