Today was the first time I talked to my children about Martin Luther King Jr.. They are just 2 and 4 years old.

Had to fight back tears as I explained to my children how things were and how Mr. King worked to make changes and ultimaltey gave his life to ensure equal rights for all.

He truley was a great man and I am extreamly greatful for his persistance and efforts for the human race.

Rest In Peace Dr. king Jr. and Thank You!!!!

I agree. I spoke to my daughter about it too. It is important to pass the message that people should be judged on their character and not the color of their skin. The US has made a lot of progress but there is still a lot of work to do in order to continue spreading the message. Teaching our children his message is the best way for us to celebrate his life.
