I dun like em!

we dont really need him at all + we have a better record with no mo williams.

Mo played during a more difficult stretch of the season. I still think he's a good guy to have on the court. Better than Jamaal or Earl, at least.

Jazz had the most predictable offense in the NBA when Mo was running the point. I like Mo but he's a PG by default.

You have to also consider the Jazz started this season with a bunch of new guys, playing arguably the most difficult schedule in the nba, with lots of road games and little practice time. They were going to get better as time went on no matter what.

If Mo Williams was healthy the whole time, the Jazz would be a lot better right now.

so, mo is injured. if he would come back would we be a better team? no.
so no need to keep him after this season. if he resigns for very cheap (which he will not), then likely yes, keep him.

I don't see how anyone can say we're not a better team with a healthy Mo. Have you seen the defenses completely ignoring Tinsley?

The guy isn't John Stockton, but he's still a lot better than Tinsley.

I think if we don't trade for a stud PG (Bledsoe,Rondo) that we should resign Mo next year...

I believe he will sign for a much cheaper contract Cuz..

We picked up his option this year which gave him a good payday...

He wants to start and there aren't too many teams I can think of that would be signing him and giving him the starting spot...

Coming off an injury and playing less than half the season...

I seem to think we can sign Mo for a 3 year deal that starts out high and drops every year, maybe 6.5M the first year then 5m the second year then 4m the third year!!!!

Then do what Prince said and get a PG in the draft!!!

No to Mo Williams unless he is willing to take a decent pay cut and will accept a bench role. He is hurt all the time. On average he misses 20 games a season.

Not to mention the defense would be better. Tinsley and Watson are just too old and slow to play even passable defense. Not to mention when Tinsley or Watson end up with the ball with 7 seconds left I just cringe every time.

Which then causes Tinsley to think he's Foye and hoist up a bunch of threes that make that doink sound.
Bledsoe is a "stud"? Meh, the Clips really struggled when he was a starter.
no. I think this has more to do with what Zulu said plus, you need to take into account how good Paul is. Look at how bad the Clips were before Paul. He's the best pg in the league, and the Clips are highly dependent on him the way he runs the offense and all. He's on a higher stratosphere then all other pg's, and Bledsoe is still very young, and just now starting to get minutes, and just trying to learn to put his game together. It's plain to see though, just watching him play, he's got loads of potential.

Depending how the front office treats Mo during his time injured, I truly believe that he would re-sign knowing that he'd be mentoring a 1st & vying to play a Jason Terry type role...

Actually, I think both Al & Mo would take pay-cuts so long the FO is upfront with them regarding their LT plans for this team.
- Mo mentors pick, year 2 of contract he is the 3rd guard
- Al starts for 2 more years (w/ Favors), then becomes 3rd big behind Enes in year 3

That's my long-term outlook for this team (draft future PG in '13 & resign both Mo/Al), as we're 2-3 years from being a Beast in the West!
