So if this epic rant, that proves absolutely nothing since a half season with any team with new players is hardly defining of what may have been, and far too small a sample size for any meaningful comparison, means you are done constantly bringing up Boozer where it isn't warranted and reviving arguments that have already died and gone to bed, then I approve.
Something you need to take your blinders off long enough to see is that enough people were sick of Boozer NEVER playing defense that getting Jefferson, who was viewed as a superior defender, which he is, was exciting. So mostly people were glad to see Boozer and his attitude of disloyalty (getting his raise regardless), 30 lost games per year due to injury, and failure to guard a dead man, leave for his mo' money mo' money mo' money. A lot of us were ready for something different too, as it was obvious he wasn't going to carry us to the promised land. It was time for a fresh face and new blood. So understandably people get excited about the new guy. The new guy who happened to come into a ****-storm waiting to happen with D Will and his rapidly inflating ego and rapidly deflating attitude. The team falling apart had nothing to do with Jefferson, or Boozer, but Williams because he didn't get his way. So since we never got to see what a true D Will/AJ tandem could have done, their grade is incomplete and we cannot know how they would have fared to compare them to the Boozer/Williams days. All we can do is compare the player to the player, and IMO I would rather have AJ than Boozer.
If your beef is that you don't like Jefferson then fine, that is valid, but your mistake was trying to "prove" that Boozer is a superior player, which he quite simply is not. If you had simply attacked Jefferson on his own merits than I am sure you would have garnered plenty of supporters, but the way you did it was irrational and wrong and quite frankly made you look like a crackpot or some typical internet big-acting teen. Or an act.
But you know, I do kind of get a feeling that it isn't an act, but in your DNA so I would guess we haven't heard the end of the irrational Boozer love from you. Can't wait until you start telling us how much better off we would be with Boozer instead of Favors.
