NBA will install cams in every arena

Just read two very interesting articles about the NBA making a step forward and tracking advanced player data in every venue.
For statistics and simulation nerds like myself this is very exciting to read about it.
I wonder if the Jazz were amongst those teams who installed the cameras on their own or if they're on the mandatory wave making babysteps to utilize this technology.
I'd bet money the Spurs were amongst the first to go in this direction.
Apparently the Raptors have the most developed simulation tool up and running with ghost players showing how they should play if they executed the game plan accurately.

You have nothing to worry about. i mean do you know how many techicians it would take to review all that data to find anything meaningful. I wonder where the nbA is going to store all that data....

too bad they couldn't have done this 20 years ago. If they had I could now enjoy digital AI matchups of jordan prime vs Kobe prime, or other top players from an era like Payton vs Rose. Stockton v Nash. Malone v LeBron. Or Magic Johnson v Lebron.
