Zhou has serious good rim protection potential and #42 is now the jazz only hope of someone who can actually have a chance to get some playing time on the Jazz
 
I think Withey did a fantastic job as Gobert's backup. I'd like to see him return.
 
i think jazz will trade burke to get a new draft pick or two

Qi isn't NBA ready, Withey would still be the primary back up if we drafted him.

I am still amazed people are perfectly happy with Whitey. He isn't very good. Thiskid has more potential. As a big who doesn't get off the bench on a team that is borderline playoff caliber. You take the potential. Whitey is very limited.
 
I want another big from the draft, but the good ones aren't getting to #42. Trade up for one. Burke, Mack, Withey, Pleiss, 2nd round picks, the rights to Ante Tomic and cash should all be on the table. Then move up as far as possible and grab somebody purely for development. Two if possible. Let them spend the year leading the SLC Stars for their rookie season.
 
If the Jazz offer Trey Burke of Shelvin Mack, a 2nd round pick, and also agree to take a player into cap space, that might warrant a first-round pick in the 20s.

Trey or Shelvin, plus 2nd round pick(s), plus cash should be enough to get into the 20's this year. I'd actually probably try to get two TBH. Give me any combination of Labissiere, Korkmaz, Ellenson, Baldwin, Bembry, Prince, Zizic, Qi, Maker, Stone, D. Murray, Luwawu, Zubac, Richardson, Hernangomez, Diallo, Zipser or Bentil. . . and I'll be a very happy fan. Stick them in the D-league and let them focus on building NBA bodies, working with the Jazz coaches, but logging valuable minutes for the SLC Stars. That would be my plan.

Qi has what withey doesn't long length and better fexibility.If he wasn't Chinese he'd be thought more highly. Somebody is going to jump all over his rim protection ability.he'd be good behind Gobert.
 
Woj said that Charlotte is looking to dump the #22 pick if the other team is willing to take Spencer Hawes' 2 years $6 million per year deal.

In order to reach the salary floor, we have to add more salaries. Although I don't want to pay Hawes $6 in 2017, he would help us add quality depth for our "run" this year. If Korkmaz or Luwawu is there at #22, I think this is a great trade.
