New Hampshire Primaries

Romney has all the momentum now. S.C is in 11 days. He currently has a 10% lead (average of polls) in S.C. The popular govenor of that state and McCain who won the state in 2008 are both there campaigning for him already. All the other candadites have said they are staying in the race. That will split the anti-Romney vote. I called it in the Iwoa Caucuses thread. Romney won big tonight and this thing is over barring a catostrophic meltdown.

Kinda sad that politics has been boiled down to "whatever gets me elected" instead of "what is best for the country". They have to pick a VP that will get them elected, not necessarily because they think that person would make a good VP or, God forbid, president should the pres die in office.

I mean, I know it has really always been about that, but in the past few elections, of the oh 6 or 7 I have been alive for and old enough to care about, as well as what I have read concerning others in the past, it does seem that there has been a steady degradation in the quality of the presidential hopefuls and the way they run a campaign. I think we are seeing symptoms of that in the crises currently facing our country, since they do what is needed to get the next guy elected (or themselves re-elected), not what is best for the country. Unfortunately, what is needed is often not what is popular and therefore does not contribute to votes down the road, so **** them all and give me 4 more years seems to be the mantra.

Romney ran away with this. 38% so far and widening. The money will continue to flow in. Gingrich is doing more harm to himself by seeming so petty. Santorum is 4th which does not help him in S.C and Perry is done. Romney has the very popular S.C Govenor in his corner. The race is over. Crown Romney and call it done. For good or bad he has won...

I don't think we know yet if he has won it all.
At the same time, if Ron Paul comes in second.... he best be running as an independent in this election.
I can see another Ross Perot getting into the debates, of course minus the cute little charts :)

Mark my words though, and remember if Romney beats Obama....
That Romney is a complete clone of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama.
The only thing he may try to change is Obamacare, everything else will stay the same.
He will continue all the spending, all the wars, and wont bring an end to criminal government entities like the Fed, and the I.R.S.
He will not try to get rid of bills like the Patriot Act, and the NDAA.
He is..... like Obama, a puppet of the Federal Reserve.

I am calling it. Mark my words it is over (again barring some catastrophic meltdown)

Romney is 2-2 with a suprise in Iowa (to an extent) and a big N.H. win. So he has all the momentum
He has a 10% lead in the current S.C polls. The popular govenor of that state and John McCain are already there for him
He is up about 7% in Florida
He will go into Nevada where he is already ahead. Nevada is Romney friendly as the average caucus goers on the GOP side are about 25% Mormon.
He has the money to run ads, mailers and what not non stop. Increadible organization thru all the states.

This is over. Also apart from paul they are all some form of the same thing. Paul will never win but if he keeps "campaigning" even after the general election he may lay the ground work for a future candidate.

Yeah I suppose I sort of agree with everything you said.
We all know that apart from Paul, they are all status quo.
At least Ron Paul supporters can tell the idiots that voted for Romney that they tried to change things, but Americans just wouldn't pull there heads out of the asses of the mainstream media.
