I'm sure Dennis Lindsey has let 29 other teams know that Jefferson, Williams, Beidrins and Rush are available (along with Evans, Garrett, Clark, Lucas, and Thomas), whether they have value as players or just as expiring contracts. If we do see RJ or MW traded, it will be right at the deadline, IMO. Teams are out there looking for better deals as players like Green and Turner are on the market. MW and RJ could be fall-backs if others demand too much.

Don't know why anyone thinks the Jazz are going to make any trades. The Jazz aren't taking on any more contracts, and don't see why they would trade one expiring contract for another straight across, and not getting a first round pick for any of those guys.

We can do Marvin for Villanueva with picks involved. Detroit gets better and has a chance to make it into playoffs which they are only 1 win away from. They also recently fired their coach which shows they want to win. Even if they don't give us a pick we get worse and that's good for the tank. Villanueva has 1 year left on his contract.

There are more than a few players that I would be bummed about if they were traded...Evans is definitely on that list...as is Gobert.

I think it more likely the Jazz trade Kanter than Gobert. Rudy has a chance to be a special player in this league defensively. If he can develop just a bit on the offensive side, we can have quite the tandem at the 5.

Kanter is another player I would be bummed about. For his age and taking into consideration when he started playing basketball, I think he's coming along nicely. I have no problems giving him another couple of years.

Outside the box thinking. MW could certainly slide into the backup role at both the 3 and 4. Not sure Portland would want to give up CJ, though. He was a top-10 pick. They'd probably ask for a center in return (Gobert) to even out the trade.

But it is a unique proposal. Rep worthy!

They aren't going to give up a top 10 pick rookie that has actually played pretty well the little bit he has played this year for a half year rental on a player. We would have to give up a pick in that scenario. Now they might be willing to give up someone like Meyers leonard for Williams. I think Portland would be a great fit for Williams, but they don't have anything of value to give up that we would want. They don't have any picks they can trade, and won't give up any players that we would want.
